I started in 1990 in cadet karting when I was 11 years old.

What is your biggest racing achievement?

Winning the 2001 Formula Renault UK Championship ahead of Danny Watts who won LMP2 at Le Mans!

 Best car you have driven?

As part of the 2001 BRDC McLaren Autosport Young Driver of the Year, one of the evaluation tests included driving a factory AMG Mercedes DTM car.

Where can you see your career going?

I want to win the G50 Championship this year and win the prize of an endurance drive with Ginetta and in the long term my aim is to get into sportscars and secure a place as a factory driver.

Who is your racing hero?

Valentino Rossi - his talent and achievements are outstanding seven or eight World Championships, he just keeps on winning whatever bike he is riding.

What is your favourite circuit?

Snetterton - my home circuit, I had three wins there last year.

How do you prepare for a race?

About half an hour before the race I sit in the back of the transporter and try to relax and clear my head and focus on the face. I try to picture of what will happen, of course it never turns out that way and you have to be constantly thinking on your feet!

Where do you want to be in five years?

I just want to be racing - hopefully as a factory driver with a professional, paid drive.

How do you fund your racing?

I'm really lucky to have loyal sponsors who have been with me for years including Blue Chip, Itheon and Finesse.

What's your favourite road car?

The BMW M3 and the Ginetta F400 looks pretty amazing too!
